When people find out I spend my time exploring Gwinnett, the first question is never about neighborhoods or commutes. It's "okay, where should we eat?" So I finally sat down and made it official: my Top 3 restaurants in the county, with full reviews for each one.
Spoiler on the podium: Kurt's Euro Bistro in Duluth takes the top spot — a family-owned European bistro that's been packing its dining room since 1985, with a pork shank that should be famous outside the county line. Frankie's The Steakhouse lands second as the special-occasion splurge, hiding in plain sight on the third floor of a Sugarloaf Parkway office building. And Perry Street Chophouse rounds it out, holding down the best corner of downtown Lawrenceville with scallops, steaks, and a grand piano.
And because I couldn't help myself, there's a bonus pick at the bottom of the list: Fini's Pizzeria in Lawrenceville — the family-run, seven-time "Best Pizza in Gwinnett" winner that's my personal regular-Tuesday favorite.
Each review covers what I actually care about when I recommend a restaurant: the food, what you'll realistically spend, what the room feels like, and where it sits — because in Gwinnett, dinner is always part of a bigger evening.
