Peachtree Corners is Gwinnett's most established address — a planned community built around Technology Park in the 1970s that became the county's newest city. It's polished, professional, and dialed in: The Forum and Town Center face each other across Peachtree Parkway, and the whole city runs on a kind of quiet competence.
What Daily Life Feels Like
Mature trees, established swim-tennis neighborhoods, and a professional crowd — a lot of people here work at the companies in Technology Park or along the GA-141 corridor. The Forum gives you upscale shopping and restaurants, the Town Center across the street adds a green with events and more casual dining, and the Chattahoochee River wraps the west side of the city with real park access. It's less "new and shiny" than Buford, less eventful than Duluth — and more grown-up than either.
Major Roads & Commute
Peachtree Parkway (GA-141) is the spine — it runs south toward I-285 and the top end of the Perimeter, which makes Peachtree Corners one of the few Gwinnett addresses with a realistic commute to Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, or Buckhead. Holcomb Bridge Road crosses east–west toward Roswell, and Technology Park keeps a lot of commutes inside the city entirely. What you're not close to is I-85 — that's a fifteen-minute haul over on Jimmy Carter or Indian Trail.

Peachtree Corners is Gwinnett County Public Schools territory, primarily the Norcross High School cluster, and the area also has a heavy concentration of private school options nearby — Wesleyan School is right in the city. As always, GCPS zoning follows the exact address, so verify before you commit.
What's Nearby
The Forum and Town Center for shopping, dining, and events on the green. Jones Bridge Park on the Chattahoochee — one of the best river parks in the metro. Historic downtown Norcross is ten minutes east for date nights, and Roswell and the GA-400 corridor are just across the river when you need them.
