The restaurant that proves downtown Lawrenceville has arrived. Perry Street Chophouse sits just off the historic courthouse square and blends upscale steak-and-seafood dining with a relaxed, come-as-you-are warmth that fits the town perfectly. It's the anchor of the square's dinner scene.
The Food
Chophouse classics done carefully: steaks and chops, pan-seared jumbo scallops over mushroom risotto, and a rotating lineup of seafood. The bar program takes itself seriously, there's a separate bar-bites menu for casual nights, and the Sunday brunch service is a genuine local event.

Price Range
Upscale, but a notch gentler than the big-name steakhouses — you can do a full steak dinner for a special occasion or keep it lighter at the bar without the bill running away from you. Closed Mondays; dinner Tuesday through Sunday, plus that Sunday brunch window.
The Atmosphere
Red tufted leather, a grand piano, greenery and string lights — polished but playful, and livelier than a traditional chophouse. The bar seats fill with locals, and the dining room handles everything from date night to girls' night without missing a beat.
